Mango Fest of Key West features all things mango including mango tasting, mango trees and mango daiquiris. The culinary competitions between local chefs and residents alike showcases the colorful abilities of what the mango, also known as the king of fruit, has to offer. The Vendor Village gives art collectors and foodies the experience of a festival atmosphere. Music is provided along with live radio broadcasts.
PAL’s programs are designed to get children involved in sports and in educational programs. It provides a safe place where kids can go after school and on weekends. It encourages teamwork and strong self-esteem. Members of the Key West Police Department donate their time and effort to help with an array of programs that include boxing and basketball. PAL supports computer classes after school and provides entertaining and educational camps during the summer and on holidays.
First incorporated in 1910, PAL is a juvenile crime prevention program that relies heavily on education, athletics and recreational activities to tighten the bond between cops and kids.
Come listen to some local musicians as well as the Key West Police Departments very own, DJ Officer Igor as he provides the afternoon entertainment. Kids are welcome to meet the KWPD Mounted Unit and enjoy the bounce houses.
Free admission for all. Take part in our silent auction and the 50/50 raffle. All proceeds benefit the local children involved with the Key West Police Athletic League. Take a walk through the mango tasting tent while supplies last.
